Directed by Varon Bonicos and spanning a 12-year period, the film weaves together his rocket-like trajectory through the fashion world with an intimate portrait of a family man struggling to balance life and work.
Boateng is charismatic, glamorous, hard-working and very humanly flawed; his personal and professional triumphs and setbacks are the fascinating heart of this insightful documentary set against a backdrop of models, movie stars and fabulous locations.
