THE RAVEN is a gothic crime drama based on the fictionalised final days of iconic poet Edgar Allan Poe.
John Cusack plays Poe, who becomes obsessed with a mysterious serial killer whose brutal crimes appear to mirror those in the author's work. Teaming up with a young Baltimore detective (Evans) Poe sets out to hunt down the enigmatic culprit, and thereby clear his own name.
But events take an ugly turn when it becomes clear that someone very close to Poe may well be lined up as the next victim. Expect playful twists and plenty of tension from this period thriller.
